Center Announces Key Staff Appointments

On 3 December, at the Center for Emergency Situations and Disaster Risk Reduction, the Chief of Staff of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Dauren Yesimseitov, introduced the newly appointed personnel of the Center:

• Mr. Nurlan Bekbosynov — appointed as Deputy Director of the Center;
• Ms. Svetlana Muratbekova — appointed as Senior Expert of the Center.

Mr. Yesimseitov emphasized that the experience and professional qualities of the newly appointed staff members will make a significant contribution to strengthening the Center’s activities.

The Director of the Center, Mr. Djerqalbek Ukashev, welcomed the new appointees and wished them success in fulfilling the Center’s tasks, including advancing regional and international cooperation in disaster risk reduction, prevention, and emergency response. He noted that strengthening the Center’s human resources is an important step toward improving operational efficiency and achieving the organization’s strategic objectives.

During the introduction, the Chief of Staff assigned several tasks aimed at further enhancing the Center’s operations and increasing the effectiveness of its work.
