Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan agreed to exchange seismological data

On April 17, 2025, in order to integrate early warning systems about earthquakes in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, at the site of the Center for Emergency Situations and Disaster Risk Reduction “National Scientific Center for Seismological Observations and Research” LLP of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Central-Asian Institute for Applied Geosciences (CAIAG) agreed to exchange seismic data from the operating seismic stations of the institutes in real time, and secured this agreement by signing a corresponding Agreement.

Thus, the data exchange between 18 stations of NSCSOR and 21 stations of CAIAG is expected.
